A+ EXPRESS TOWING AUCTION RULES

Viewing days occur Tuesday through Thursday during the auction week
Viewing will occur between the hours of: 12:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M.
Below are listed rules and regulations for participating in our auction
A signed copy of this rules and regulations sheet must be included with your bids
Procedures including all schedules
1. We enforce a 20 minute time limit for viewing vehicles. If you need more time to
view vehicles, you may come back another day during the auction for 20 minutes.
2. All bids must be turned in by 4:00 P.M. the Friday of viewing week.
3. We will notify all bidders (high bid or not) no later than 4:00 P.M. on Monday,
following viewing week or Tuesday if that Monday falls on a holiday.
4. All vehicles must be paid for in cash and removed from our premises no later
than 4:00 P.M. Friday of the same week bidders are notified of their high bids.
5. Each vehicle that is not paid for AND picked up by 4:00 P.M. will be charged a
$20 late payment fee and accrue a storage fee of $20 daily. Vehicles left on the
premises 10 or more days after a bidder has been notified of their high bid will be
immediately impounded and assessed additional fees at the rates currently
approved by the City of Eugene.
Regulations to all bidders
1. Each vehicle will be awarded to the bidder who made the highest bid on their
bidding sheet. Because this is a silent auction, we will under no circumstances
divulge the bids of other bidders or the current highest bid on any vehicle.
2. Do not bid on more vehicles than you are willing to pay for. You are responsible
to pay for every vehicle that is awarded to you.
3. In the event a bidder is awarded multiple vehicles from an auction, they will pay
for every vehicle at the same time.
4. You are responsible for any and every vehicle you are awarded regardless of
whether you meant to bid on them or not so double check your bidding sheet.
5. While quantities, descriptions and capacities on the bidding sheet are believed to
be correct, there are no guarantees and A+ Express Towing will not be held
responsible for advertising discrepancies or inaccuracies.
6. Anyone not honoring their bid will be prohibited from participation in future
auctions.
7. For licensed dealers or wreckers, there is no limit on the number of vehicles you
may bid on.
8. For those without a dealer or wrecking license, you may bid on a maximum of 5
vehicles per auction.
9. Do not include contents of the vehicle when considering your bid. This includes
any personal items or stereo systems as they are not guaranteed with the vehicle.
10. Expect every vehicle to have some mechanical or electrical problem.
11. You will be allowed to bring your own jump box, air or tire changing equipment.
A jump box, air and or tire changing equipment may be provided for a fee.
12. You will be allowed to check fluid levels, start the vehicles and confirm whether
the vehicle will shift into gear.
13. You are not allowed to drive the vehicles any distance.
14. No vehicle is sold with any warranty, expressed or implied, as to its condition or
driving ability.
15. All vehicles included in this auction are unclaimed police impounds. They go
through the Possessory Lien Process in order to be eligible for auction. Due to this
process, we do not hold titles but Foreclosed Lien paperwork on every vehicle.
Foreclosed Lien paperwork is an equivalent to a title. Titles are available from DMV.
16. All vehicles awarded through A+ Express Towing must be titled with DMV prior
to reselling.
17. As another part of the Possessory Lien Process, we are required to scratch the
tags of all vehicles sold. It is the bidder's sole responsibility to make sure that the
vehicle is legal and in a roadworthy condition before attempting to drive the
purchased vehicle off our premises. If you are not a dealer or a wrecker, you will
need to purchase a trip permit or have the vehicle towed from our lot. We do not
sell trip permits but offer discounted towing rates to buyers pending flexibility.
18. No vehicle may be repaired while on A+ Express Towing premises. Any vehicle
being repaired is subject to impound without notice.
19. An A+ Express Towing Employee will accompany no more than 2 Bidders at any
given time on our premises. Bidders will see the vehicles on a first come, first serve
basis pending the first available employee.
20. Bidders and/or their guests may not, at any time, remove items from, tamper
with, damage or dismantle any vehicle located on these premises. Violators will be
prohibited from participating in future auctions and subject to arrest and
prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
21. Appropriate clothing is to be worn by all bidders and guests. No flip flops.
22. All persons, bags, backpacks, vehicles and all other items allowed on A+
Express Towing premises are subject to search.
23. We are not a car dealer or wrecking yard. We will not sell your vehicle or sell a
vehicle to you inside or outside of the auction process.
24. Taking pictures or videos of the vehicles on these premises with any device is
prohibited.
25. Be advised that there may be contraband, drug paraphernalia, bio-hazard
contaminants and other dangerous materials in any vehicle and by signing this
letter, you will hold A+ Express Towing harmless of any and all resulting
consequences of accidents on or off our premises.

Bid Sheet Definitions
Lot: I = Inside O = Outside
Keys: Y = Yes N = No
DWS = Driving While Suspended
DUII = Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants
DUINN = Driving without Insurance
SOS / Abandoned = Storage on the Street
PPI = Private Property Impound, Parking violation on private property
Safe Keep tows are not impounded because of a crime
Owner did not need a release but failed to retrieve the car or pay fees
Accident = Vehicle was towed away from an accident to be stored safely
Stolen Recovery = Recovered by the Police
Hazard = Vehicle posed a traffic hazard to the safety of other drivers
Disabled = Vehicle was unable to move from a possibly hazardous location
Date Available = Lien on vehicle will not be closed until this date
All rules, penalties, fees and definitions are subject to change without notice
I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understand all the rules and
regulations set forth by A+ Express Towing, agree to abide in full
accordance, hold harmless the company, staff and assets of A+ Express
Towing and still wish to participate in the vehicle auction
